According to the Vedic philosophy of karma, whatever good or evil, positivity or negativity, life or death, gain or loss, success or failure, happiness or sorrow, prosperity or adversity we encounter in life is the result of our own past actions. Yajna is the most auspicious remedial measure to counteract past negative karma or create positive karma for the future.
Yajna is a ritual in which specific Vedic mantras (sounds with beneficial effects) are chanted by dedicated Vedic pundits trained in Vedic rituals at the Maharishi Institute and having years of experience at the Maharishi Vedic Yajna Anushthan Vibhag. Vedic mantras are chanted a prescribed number of times in Vedic rituals to burn away the seeds of your bad karma. A strong Vedic principle regarding yagyas is, "The more you perform, the greater the benefits."
